Photosafe App Information

Do you find that you take the majority of your photos on one of your digital devices?
Did you know we have a mobile app that can help you easily upload these photos from your device straight to the albums on your Heritage Makers account?
It’s free and so simple to use! In this blog post we’ll give you a quick crash course so you can start using this app in no time.

First, you’ll need to open the app store on your device and search “HM Photosafe Mobile Manager,” and you’ll see the image below.

When you open the app you will see all the photo albums in your Heritage Makers account. You can choose to have them displayed in list or expanded form, which you can see in the image below on the left and right, respectively. The gear icon at the top left lets you manage your settings and log out of your account, while the plus icon at the top right lets you add a new folder.

Now let’s go into one of these folders and see what we can do. When I open my Beach album in the Family Vacations folder, it shows all the pictures I have uploaded there so far, which you can see below. The icon at the bottom left refreshes my page, and the icon at the bottom right lets me add photos from my device to this folder.

When I select a specific photo from the folder, several different options appear. In the image below you can see four icons along the bottom of the screen. Starting from the left, the first option is to delete this picture, which you cannot undo. It is also important to note that you can only delete specific photos with this app, not albums or folders. To the right is the move option, which lets you transfer this photo to a different folder in your account. The next icon with the plus sign lets you copy the selected photo and then choose a folder to send the copied image. The original image does not change location. The final option with the arrow lets you download this photo to your device.

 

**If you are experiencing issues with your app, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your device. Also make sure your device is up-to-date with it's respective software.
