To Importing your addresses can be done by accessing your Address book in the links at the top right of your account.
Select Import address located to the top right of your addresses.
You will be given a few options to choose from to import your addresses. We suggest the Heritage Makers format. This format is known as a CSV file.
You will have a download option in a pop up screen. Select the sample download at the bottom. It will look like this:
You will be asked if you want to open or save the download. Select Save; then OK.
This will open an excel spreadsheet that is formatted as CSV. If your addresses are saved to another spreadsheet, you can copy and past in column information. You do not need to fill in all of the listed information but I have highlighted in red the required information:
Once you have filled in the necessary information and saved your file to your computer, you can upload your address book. You will need to go back to the import address link on your account. This time you will select the Heritage makers Format:
After you have selected the Heritage Makers Format, you will need to browse for your file. Once you have located your file, select to import.
If for any reason an address fails, you will be notified so you can make corrections to the address. I suggest entering any failed address as a single address rather than importing your address book twice. This will help to avoid duplicates.
